The Malian player who scored first goal against Ivory Coast yesterday, came from the U20.Ghana was the only country whose players could not sing the national anthem. We all believed in big name players . That notion should be changed from now on. When Salah got injured in our match with Egypt , his sub was MAMOOSH. This player dribbled pass Odoi all night. How can we have a National Team which is just "fr3fr3 kobo", instead of raising a Homebased Team that could be interspersed with a few foreign players? They only sell players out while our Local Professional League is collapsing. There is no transition among the Age Teams that takes them to the Senior National Team. This is what modern Football has become and countries that are following that perform well at Tournaments. If the right systems are put in place, our Local Coaches can do better than the Foreign Coaches, if their remuneration competes with.the Foreign ones. Until our "Football People" eschew their greediness, selling players, our Football would continually die off.
