Ghana did not win the AFCON, Ghana did not win the world cup, Ghana did not qualify for the Olympics, Ghanaian clubs could not go past the preliminaries of the Africa club championships until now. Ghana winning the FIFA Under 20 world cup, yes, was an accomplishment but not beating Egypt 6-1 home and Mali 2-0 away.
