Coffie scores twice for Elche in first test match

90 MINUTES is reliably informed that Asante Kotoko forward Francis Coffie is enjoying his trials with Spanish second tier side Elche.

Coffie scored two goals in his first test match for Elche last week and has confirmed his delight and satisfaction with how well things are going in Spain.

The left-footed attacking midfielder was originally scheduled to do a trial for 10 days but Elche officials have been impressed so much the club wants him to stay.

Meanwhile 90 MINUTES is also privy to information that there has been some Dutch interest in Coffie, with a top Eredivisie club keen on snatching the 20 year old to play in Holland but the player’s agent will decide which country will benefit Francis Coffie.
