RTU beat Hasaacas 2-1

Essipong (W/R), May 12, GNA - Visiting Real Tamale United (RTU) on Wednesday beat Sekondi Hasaacas 2-1 in a Glo Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong.

Sadat Karim found the net for RTU in the 10th minute after his side had boldly put Hasaacas on the carpet soon after the start of the match. Hasaacas geared up and played tooth and nail for an equalizer, which was realized in the 42nd minute through Prince Antwi.

The two sides became engaged in "Slow but sure" tactical play to dominant the match but home-based Hassacas were more upcoming with a little support from handful of supporters at the stadium.

In the second half, RTU went into action and attacked upfront and after subjecting Hasaacas to sporadic attacks, Ganiu Yahaya shot RTU ahead in the 59th minute.

Not discouraged, Hasaacas fought back to make amends but the visitors stood firm on the ground to consolidate their lead until the final whistle. 12 May 10
