Winneba Soccer Intellectuals thrash Supper Blessings

Agona Abrem, (C/R) Sept. 16, GNA - Winneba Soccer Intellectuals reaped goal harvest when they thrashed Agona Abrem Supper Blessings 6-0 in the Central Region Women's League match at Agona Abrem at the week-end. Vida Obeng who was instrumental towards the massive victory for Intellectuals scored a hat trick in the first half. After Referee Daniel Aborabora signaled the two sides into action it was Winneba Soccer Intellectuals who showed their determination to carry the day when they went ahead to score three rapid goals through Obeng within 30 minutes. After the opening goals, Supper Blessings took over the attack and thrice came close to scoring but their forwards wasted the chances. On resumption of the second half, Soccer Intellectuals once again came into the picture and scored three more goals through Francisca Abaidoo, Tijani Barikisu and Amina Shetu to seal the doom of Supper Blessings. 16 Sept. 08
