Komenda 'U' Camp emerge Gala champions

Komenda, (C/R) Sept. 16, GNA - Komenda 'U' Camp beat Ankaful Camp 5-4 on penalties to lift the 5th edition of the Gala tournament of the Nana Ato Arthur's Cup at Komenda.

Ten community teams drawn from the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem District of the Central Region participated in the tournament.

In addition to the Cup, 'U' Camp was presented with a set of jersey plus GH¢100 while the runners-up, Ankaful Camp took home one football plus GH¢100.

Nana Ato Arthur, Central Regional Minister who presenting the Cup to the winners, congratulated the participating teams for their show of sportsmanship and urged them to keep it up.

He advised the teams and their members to refrain from anti social practices and use their time profitably to enable them grow up to be responsible citizens.
