It appears some Ghanaians are yet to recover from the defeat the Black Stars suffered in the hands of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the semifinals stage of the 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), as they care less about how the Stars will fare in their third place match against Burkina Faso.

Ghana was denied a second successive final after losing 2-0 to Cameroon on Thursday night.

According to some people who spoke to Ghanaweb, it is a total waste of time to watch the Stars play especially when their trust in the team has constantly been fractured following the poor performance of the team.

Others have however thrown their weights behind the team suggesting that although Ghana failed to clinch the AFCON title despite playing in their sixth consecutive semifinal, it would be better to beat Burkina Faso to redeem its image.

The game is at 19:00 GMT.
