Majeed Ashimeru joins Austrian Giants Red Bull Salzburg

Premier League side WAFA have confirmed the departure of midfielder Majeed Ashimeru to a Austrian Champion Red Bull Salzburg.

The 19-year-old becomes the latest Ghanaian recruit to join the Austrian Club after Samuel Tetteh and David Atanga.

Ashemiru leaves WAFA after years at the Club where he came through the youth ranks.

The midfielder has already left the country to begin life in Europe.

WAFA will thus end the season without one of their key players who have been an integral part of the team through the season.

The player was a member of the Black Stars B team that failed to qualify for the Champions of Africa Nations tournament after losing to Burkina Faso.
