Laurent Champagne Invitational Golf tees off at Tema

Tema, Oct. 16, GNA - The Laurent Champagne Invitational Golf Championship tees off at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday, October 21.

Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the Tema Country Golf Club who announced this at Tema on Monday, said 100 amateur golfers from the Greater Accra Region have been invited to participate in the competition.

He said the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition, which is to be played under the rules of the Tema Country Golf Club, would be sponsored by Cognac Limited.

Mr Adablanu said the Club was putting the course into good shape in order to ensure a good competition.

He said that registration for the competition, which has attractive prizes at stake, would be closed on Friday, October 20.

Mr Eddy Duplan, Chief Executive Officer of Cognac Limited would be assisted by Mr Kofi Gyau, Captain of Tema Country Golf Club to present the magnificent trophy to the winner of the competition.
