Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus has suffered a fresh injury after appearing to pick up a knock during Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 victory over Coventry City on October 19, 2026.
The Black Stars attacker was seen limping towards the end of the encounter, raising concerns about his fitness and his availability for Ghana’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Kudus featured on the right wing for Tottenham and delivered an impressive performance, using his pace, dribbling ability and movement to trouble Coventry’s defence.
The Ghanaian played a key role in the opening goal, collecting the ball near the centre circle in the 14th minute before beating his marker and driving forward to set up James Maddison, who finished brilliantly to put Spurs ahead.
Coventry City responded shortly after the break through Jack Rudoni, who capitalised on a rebound inside the box to level the score.

Tottenham, however, regained the lead through Omar Marmoush before Ben Davies sealed the victory with a powerful volley from the edge of the box in the closing stages.
Despite the convincing win, Kudus’ apparent injury has shifted attention to his physical condition, with the possibility of another absence from international duty becoming a concern for Ghana.
The 26-year-old remains an important player for the Black Stars, and any prolonged spell on the sidelines could affect the team’s preparations for their upcoming AFCON qualifying matches.
Ghana will be hoping the injury is not serious and that the former West Ham United player can recover in time to be available for selection.
