Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the departure of head coach Igor Tudor following a run of poor performances in the Premier League, with the decision announced on March 29, 2026.

The move comes after Spurs’ 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, a result that pushed the club further down the table as they continue to battle relegation.

Tudor reportedly learned of the decision shortly after the defeat, which coincided with the passing of his father, Mario. Both parties have agreed to a mutual parting of ways.

Spurs now have around 10 days to prepare for their next fixture, an away game against Sunderland on April 12, which could prove decisive in their fight to remain in the league.

Roberto De Zerbi, Mauricio Pochettino, and Andoni Iraola are among the coaches reportedly being considered for the role, with a permanent appointment expected in the summer.

Tudor was appointed interim head coach on February 14, 2026, and leaves after just 44 days and seven matches in charge.

His brief tenure saw four defeats, one draw, and no wins in his first five Premier League games, leaving Spurs 17th on the table, just one point above the relegation zone.
