I would love to manage Ghana - Desailly

French World Cup hero MARCEL DESAILLY, preparing for today's home match against Blackburn, revealed he would love to manage the country of his birth, Ghana.

"I'd love to give my experience to Ghanaians and to the national team especially. They have never been in the World Cup finals."

In the same interview, Desailly insisted he feels no guilt over his mega-money superstar wages.

The Chelsea captain believes he earns every penny of his ?40,000-a-week pay cheque.

The French defender, who earns in seven days what most supporters would bank in TWO YEARS, said if being a player was that easy then everyone would be one.

Desailly, 32, "I don't feel guilty about anything I'm earning. It's life. Businessmen are earning a hundred thousand times more.

"It's all about talent. If it was easy then everybody would be a footballer. Why earn ?2,000 a month if you can earn what we are earning as a footballer.

"When you were partying at the weekends I was in the formation centre when I was 13. That's why I will never feel any guilt."
