The Ghana Football Association has expressed dissatisfaction over the prolonged stay of Coach Avram Grant in Europe.

Grant has been out of the country for more than a month after the Black Stars 7-1 mauling over Mauritius in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Israeli trainer who was expected to be in the country to monitor the domestic League is said to have asked for a one month leave from his employers.

Ghanasportsonline.com can however reveal that officials of the Ghana Football Association are disgruntled by the extensive stay of the former Chelsea boss.

“He asked for a one month leave and the one month is over. We were expecting him to arrive at the end of the month but as I speak he is still not in the country,” a close source of the FA disclosed to Ghanasportsonline.com.

“The FA is very worried about his prolonged stay in Europe. We have already contacted him to return so that the preparation will begin for the game against Rwanda.”

The 60-year-old is expected to arrive to begin preparation ahead of the 2017 Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.
