Former Ghana youth star, Awudu Isaka has urged Black Stars coach, Otto Addo to hold talks with skipper Andre Dede Ayew over his future in the Black Stars.
Issaka, who does not support the decision to sideline the captain, believes Ayew has paid his dues and thus deserves to be treated better.
Speaking on Angel TV, he noted that Ayew could serve as a guide for the young players in the squad while admitting that the player has been off his game due to age.
"I think the coach should tell him that he won't call him again. He should call him privately. He was expecting to be called but didn't get an invitation, so he is okay.
"He has paid his dues to Ghana and we were all witnesses. Dede Ayew might have reached this stage but he has the experience and knowledge to help the young players.
Andre Ayew has now missed out on a Black Stars call-up for the third time in a row, with his last invitation dating back to late 2023.
Otto Addo explained that he left out the skipper because his current focus is creating a team for the future.
The German-trained gaffer emphasized that he is focused on building a team from a young group, hence the decision to omit Ayew from the list.
"We are looking at the future or the long-term development, that's mainly why we invited younger players and left out André Ayew."
