Clubs scramble for Baba Yara Stadium ahead of Special Competition

The commencement of the Normalization Committee special competition has increased demand for the Baba Yara stadium according to Director-General of the National Sports Authority, Professor, Peter Twumasi.

According to the sports administrator, at least five clubs have reached the NSA for use of the stadium with the special competition set to begin this weekend.

Unity FC, Asokwa Deportivo and King Faizal are among clubs pressing for the use of the sports edifice according to the NSA boss with demand for the sports venue at its peak. Two other unnamed clubs have sent their requests with the state of the Baba Yara stadium remaining a cause for concern for sports followers.
