Speaking in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb, Allotey noted that he is aware of his opponent’s strengths and is preparing to combat fiercely.

"I'm not seeing anything difficult. I always put the painful aspect into the gym, and when it's time for the fight, it becomes an easy job for me. The training was amazing and great, and I'm very glad to be conditioned for the fight. I'm always cool whenever I enter the ring. I put the pressure on myself during training."

“So after training, when I go into the ring, there’s no pressure. I know what I do, I know what I can do. So I always go all out to bring the victory back home. I’ve been ranked in all the major sanctioning bodies like the IBF, WBC, and WBO, but not yet in the WBA. So it would mean a lot for me to be ranked in the WBA world rankings,” he said.

Allotey assured the public that he would win the Super Flyweight title to augment his record, while also respecting his opponent’s efforts.

“I’ve been watching him for a long time before the match was announced, so he’s not new to me. I’ve faced tougher boxers than him, so I’m not afraid of meeting him. But I never underrate any boxer, I respect him a lot. Still, I’m definitely bringing the victory back home. For this bout, we are not going to finish all the rounds. I cannot tell Ghana that I’ll knock him out in a specific round so that he prepares for it,” he added.
