The Black Queens of Ghana are demanding $11,000 each from the Sports Ministry for winning gold at the All Africa Games.

Sources close to the Ghana Football Association have revealed that the Queens budget for the competition stated that each player would earn $3,000 for qualification from the group stage, $3,000 for advancing from the semi-final to the grand-finale and $5,000 for winning the tournament summing up to a total of $11,000 for each member of the playing body.

The gold medalists had initially refused their proposed package of $2000 in Congo and upon arrival have refused to leave the M-Plaza Hotel in Roman Ridge in Accra since Sunday.

The long stay in the Hotel is in protest of their unsettled AAG qualification bonus and prize money.

Ghana hauled a total of two gold, nine silver and eight bronze medals making a total of 19 medals placing 12th on the total ranking table.
