Astronomers and Friends Babies draw

Cape Coast, Oct 9, GNA - Cape Coast Friends Babies fought from a goal down at half-time to draw 1-1 with Adisadel Astronomers in their Under 12 league match played at the Robert Mensah stadium on Monday. Astronomers who started the match strongly, scored the opener through mid-fielder Umar Dabida, and hanged on to it until half-time. They continued to pile pressure on their opponents on resumption of the second half and nearly increased the tally, but Dabida, who played a yeoman's game, sent his shot way off over the bar. The game became balanced from then on before Friends' substitute, Frank Biney, sneaked through an off-side trap to score the equalizer in the 89th minute. 09 Oct. 06
