AFCON 2017: Ghana to leave Oyem for Franceville on Monday

Ghana’s Black Stars team will leave Oyem for Franceville on Monday ahead of their quarterfinal clash against Cameroon.

Ghana booked a place to the last four for the sixth successive time after beating DR Congo 2-1 on Sunday.

Coach Avram Grant and his team are now set to face another four-time Champions Cameroon who also eliminated Senegal.

The team will leave their current base in Oyem for the crucial tie against the Indomitable Lions on Thursday.

Ghana is chasing their fifth Cup of Nations title and their first in 34 years. The team suffered a painful defeat to Cote d’Ivoire in the finals of the last edition in Equatorial Guinea after losing on penalties.
