Thieves broke into the home of Felix Afena-Gyan in Bergamo while the young Ghanaian striker was thousands of kilometres away in Mexico with the Black Stars for a pre-World Cup international friendly.
According to reports, the incident took place during his absence, with the burglars forcing entry into the property and making off with a collection of valuables.
Among the stolen items were luxury watches, jewellery, designer bags, shoes, and several other personal belongings.
The raid left the residence ransacked, with signs of a hurried but targeted search through the forward’s possessions.

At the time of the break-in, Afena-Gyan was on international duty with the Black Stars focused on World Cup preparations.
Authorities in Italy are expected to investigate the burglary, with early indications suggesting the attackers may have been aware of the player’s absence.
Despite the unsettling news, Afena-Gyan is expected to continue with national team duties as investigations proceed back in Italy.
