English Premier League giants Chelsea FC have added another promising talent to their academy, signing England-born Ghanaian youngster Osei Kuffour Jr from Levels Football Club.

The eight-year-old forward joins Chelsea after an impressive early development journey at the Barking-based Levels Soccer School, where he first enrolled at just five years old in February 2023.

Since then, he has rapidly progressed through age groups, often playing above his level and standing out for his confidence on the ball.

Known for his quick dribbling, attacking instincts and natural flair in front of goal, Osei Kuffour Jr attracted interest from several London-based clubs.

However, Chelsea ultimately won the race for his signature, adding him to their U9 development squad in West London.

The move marks a significant step in the youngster’s early career, placing him within one of England’s most established youth development systems.

Chelsea have a strong history of nurturing players with Ghanaian roots, including Tariq Lamptey, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ethan Ampadu, Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George.
