Perez Chapel reschedules reopening date over voter registration exercise

The main branch of the Perez Chapel International has rescheduled its reopening date because of the ongoing voter registration exercise.

The Perez Dome, located in Dzorwulu, Accra, had planned to begin congregating for worship from Sunday, July 5.

However, a statement signed by its senior pastor, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, they explained that the rescheduling is to allow members of the church participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.

The statement added that the church will reopen after registration exercise.

They also urged members to partake in the exercise.

EC compiling new voter register

The Electoral Commission (EC) on Tuesday, June 30, began the compilation of a new voters’ register for the presidential and parliamentary elections in December 2020.

The exercise is being held at various centres and district offices of the EC throughout the country.
