Jean Mensa doing everything possible to secure a second term for Akufo-Addo - NDC Man alleges

Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary aspirant for Nkwanta South, Richard Manuribe says Electoral Commission Chair, Jean Mensa is doing everything possible for President Akufo-Addo to secure a second term.

According to him, there is no need for a new voter roll, especially when the current one has been used for successful district assembly elections and the creation of six new regions.

“From all indications, the EC Chair is in bed with the president and the government; otherwise, how on earth will they decide to compile a new register when there is nothing wrong with the existing one?” Richard Manuribe told Reynold Agyemeng on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7

“The NPP claimed they won by one million votes in the last elections with the same register they are trying to discredit today. So, the question is: ‘Was it ghosts that voted for Nana Addo?’” he asked.

Richard Manuribe stressed that evidence abounds that the EC Chairperson is political and will not be neutral in her dealings with all the political parties, adding that she will work according to instructions from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
