GRNMA supports midwife with GH¢10,000

The Greater Accra Regional branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association on behalf of its national leadership has presented a cheque of GH¢10,000 to a midwife (name withheld) in the region.

The beneficiary recently underwent breast surgery.

Presenting the cheque on behalf of the association to the beneficiary staff, Prince Opuni Frimpong, chairperson of the Greater Accra branch of the GRNMA reiterated the association's commitment to the welfare of its members and urged members not to hesitate to approach the doorsteps of the regional and national secretariats when the need arises.

On her part, Faustina Asamoah, chairperson of the Midwives Group under the GRNMA admonished midwives to be active participants of GRNMA activities and to help project a positive image of the association as well as the true values of Ghanaian Nurses and Midwives at large.

The beneficiary staff and family receiving the cheque expressed with tears of joy, the show of love, care, and support by the association and follow-ups by the executives of the Midwives Group.
