Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah inspects Accra Sports Stadium

The Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah was at the Accra Sports Stadium to inspect ongoing works at the venue.

The Sports Minister was accompanied by the National Sports Authority boss Professor Peter Twumasi during the unannounced inspection.

The staff of the National Sports Authority and the Contractor in charge of the project were present for the inspection to ensure a minimum number of people because of the social distancing.

The 40,000-seater stadium was recently renovated to host the 2018 Women’s Cup of Nation.
