Group CEO of Databank Ghana LTD, Mr Kojo Addae-Mensah has called on the government to consider supplying each school going child with a wireless internet device (tablets) to use for their various studies in place of the expenditure on exercise books and textbooks.

Speaking on GHOne TV’s BizTrends Show hosted by Enyonam Manye, the boss of the leading financial institution said that the impact of COVID-19 should give us the wake up call to experiment this smart option to produce quality and practical education services.

Citing the likes of Singapore, Kojo Addae-Mensah said, “why can’t we do it just like Singapore.. we are always comparing ourselves to poverty and telling ourselves we can’t do..and we are getting poorer.”

“Why can’t we do it?” — He queried.
