LIVESTREAMED: Kennedy Agyapong on ‘The Seat’ show

Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, was speaking on what led to the arrest of Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of International God’s Way Church, on Net 2 TV’s ‘The Seat’ show.

Bishop Daniel Obinim is still in police custody after failing to meet his bail requirements.

The man of God was charged with the offences of publication of false news and forgery of document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offences Act, (1960) (ACT 29) respectively.

According to the Police, he was arrested on Tuesday but did not give details of the news he is alleged to have published or the forged documents.

An Accra Magistrate Court subsequently granted him bail to the tune of ¢100,000 with three sureties with one person to be justified.

He is to appear in court on June 1 while investigations into other offences leveled against him continue.
