Former Karela United midfielder Emmanuel Mintah is not ruling out a return to the club.

The combative midfielder ended his stay at Karela United last year before joining Hearts of Oak.

Mintah played a role in the Karela United squad that qualified the team from the division one to the Ghana Premier League.

In that particular season, the midfielder netted six times with five assists and four most valuable player awards.

When his contract expired at Karela United, Emmanuel Mintah decided to move and signed a two-year deal with Hearts of Oak.

Speaking to Kyfilla.com in an interview, the former Dunkwa United star man believes a return to Karela United could be possible since he has not retired from football.

“It’s never true that I have joined Karela United. I have talked to some management members after my contract with Hearts of Oak was terminated but there was nothing conclusive. Karela United is my mother club and this is football. I will never rule Karela United out”, Mintah told Kyfilla.com.

Asked whether he has received offers from clubs since his deal with Hearts of Oak was terminated, Mintah said, “there are couple of clubs that they are talking to me but currently there is nothing conclusive, I have not conclude any deal with any club yet.”

Emmanuel Mintah lasted only five months at Hearts of Oak before his two-year deal was terminated.
