Coach Bashir Hayford has refused to rule out his interest in returning to Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko.

The former Black Queens coach managed the Reds from 2007-2008 where he won the league title before joining Medeama SC.

Coach Bashir Hayford is currently unattached after parting ways with the Somalia national team.

He is vying for the vacant Ghana Football Association Technical Director position after Oti Akenteng left the post earlier this month after his 14 years of services.

After more than a decade of leaving the Porcupine Warriors, coach Bashir Hayford believes a return to Kotoko is possible and is ready to manage them.

“Yes, I'm a grown-up now but cannot rule out the possibility of coaching Asante Kotoko again. Currently, I'm too matured and ready to take up the mantle when necessary”, coach Hayford told Light FM
