Veteran football administrator and CEO of Neoplan Stars, Jonathan Abbey Pobi has warned the government against granting the request of the GFA.

The GFA is said to be holding talks with the government in a bid to get a share of the stimulus package reserved for businesses.

In an interview on Adeiso-based Tru 92.5Fm the veteran football administrator urged the government to focus on other sectors instead of football.

He alleges that the GFA will mismanage the money should it be given to them.

"The government must be warned, must be advised and must be very careful not to give the premier league clubs money. The government should not give them any money.

"The government should not take any tax payers money to the players and the cubs. If not then I suspect they have planned to share the money."
