Medeama Sporting Club manager Samuel Boadu has welcomed the decision from the Ghana Football Association to suspend the season due to the spread of coronavirus.

On Sunday, the GFA decided to suspend the Premier League for four weeks following the directive from the President of the Republic of Ghana ,Nana Akufo-Addo.

Football activities are among the highly populated social gatherings in the country hence the action taken by the state authorities.

In an interview with Kumasi FM, Boadu said: “The suspension of the league has destroyed all our plans for the league, we are in a very good form but human life is the most important thing.”

“We believe the Lord will do greater things with Medeama in the next five to six years, the Lord is preparing something good for us.”

“The technical team will meet with the management and the players to know the next line of action as to break the team or not.”

Medeama are currently on top of the Ghana premier league after 15 rounds of games with 30 points.
