I wanted to have a good chemistry with Andre Ayew – C.K Akonnor

Head coach of the Black Stars Charles Kwabla Akonnor says he wanted to have a good chemistry with skipper Andre Ayew after paying him a visit during his European tour.

Addressing the media at the Accra City Hotel, he said his trip to Europe to monitor Ghanaian players was successful.

Akonnor during his European tour visited the team’s captain at his playing base in Wales and has revealed he wanted to have good terms with the player going forward.

The discussion centered on the coach's vision, programme and new direction for the national team.

Andre Ayew is expected to lead the team in Ghana’s double header against Sudan in the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers.
