Contract rebel Yacouba dropped from Kotoko squad for London clash

Asante Kotoko contract rebel Sogne Yacouba has been dropped from the club’s squad for their UK clash with Hearts of Oak, FootballMadeinGhana can exclusively reveal.

The Porcupine Warriors face their bitterest rivals for the first time outside Ghana with the game scheduled to kick off on March 7, 2020 at the Barnett Stadium in London.

Yacouba who is out of contract at Asante Kotoko in the next 2 months has refused to renew after the club failed to meet his financial expectations.

As a result, the player albeit training with Kotoko, has been ommitted from the squad list for the club’s last 7 premier league games.

Coach Maxwell has vowed not to select Yacouba again until his contract situation is resolved and its clear the experienced tactician has kept true to his statement.
