Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng is keen to remain at Turkish side Besiktas after declining a day off to undergo a special extra training.

Boateng joined the Black Eagles on a six-month loan deal with the option to buy from Italian side Fiorentina during the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old has quickly endeared to the club’s fans following his superb debut display.

Boateng is determined to remain at the club beyond his loan spell by undergoing extra training.

According to report from the side’s camp, while everyone was given a day off, Boateng took his breath at the facilities in Ümraniye and spent the day doing a special work.

The Ghana international has succeeded in gaining the trust of coach Sergen Yalç?n in a short time after hitting a goal on his debut when he came off the bench in the 3-0 win against Gaziantep.

He also managed to make the starting line-up in last weekend’s defeat against Istanbul Ba?ak?ehir.
