Ashantigold sign Ex-Heart of Lions defender Frank Akoto

Ashanti Gold have completed the signing of Heart of Lions captain Frank ‘Aziz’ Akoto in the ongoing transfer window.

The 22-year-old signed a three-year deal on Tuesday after impressing the technical handlers of the Obuasi based club.

Having spent seven seasons with Lions, Akoto is expected to compliment Ashanti Gold’s defence as they hope to win the league title this campaign.

He was the rock at the back of the Heart of Lions defence during the NC Special Competition.
