Controversial founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has touted himself as the most anointed man of God within the boundaries of Ghana.

Prophet Bempah made this proclamation on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at the main branch of his church at Odorkor in Accra.

The man of God whilst beaming with confidence in his suit and flanked by his English interpreter, Prophet Bempah declared himself to his congregants as the only man in Ghana’s Christendom whose anointing is unparalleled.

“There is no one in this country more fortified by God than me Owusu Bempah,” He declared to his cheering congregation.

Amidst the spur on by the church members he threw a dare to anyone to “try him and see.”

Referencing the book of Paul in the bible, he stated that even though the bible admonishes boasting, it is sometimes imperative that one sings his own praise.

Prophet Bempah over the recent weeks has been in the news for various issues including an altercation between himself and members of the opposition National Democratic Congress.

During a church program at the Holy Ghost Revival Center of the Assemblies of God Church, South Odorkor branch, he had a run-in with the security officers of former President John Mahama who was also honouring an invitation. According to reports, Prophet Bempah who sought leave on his way out of the church tried to reach out to the former president.

But before he could get any close to him, the security officers of Mr. Mahama leaped in front of him to prevent him from getting any closer to the former president. The issue caused a moment of chaos which took the intervention of the church leaders and the former president to resolve.

Following this, Prophet Bempah reiterated his comments that former President Mahama has his hands soiled with blood, a claim he used to defend his prophecy of defeat for Mr. Mahama in the 2016 presidential elections.

According to Prophet Bempah, his prophecy of defeat still stands for Mr Mahama who is seeking a comeback to Ghana’s presidency as the flagbearer of the NDC in 2020.

His declaration of being the most anointed man of God in Ghana comes at the back of incensed jabs from members of the opposition NDC, who have since questioned his integrity as a man of God and his affiliations with the ruling New Patriotic Party Government.
