No School Text Books For 4 Years?

For the past four years, schools in the Upper East Region have not received any new text-books from the Ghana Education Service, although the syllabi were changed during the same period due to the educational reforms.

It is this situation that has led to the falling standards of education in the region, Benedict B. Yindol, an assistant director of education at Bolgatanga, disclosed this at the People?s Assembly of the Talensi-Nabda, district at Tongo yesterday.
