Lady grabbed by police after robbing bank

A viral video circulating on social media has shown a lady robbing a bank and escaping after.

The lady, in the video, was seen jumping out of one the windows on the side of the banking hall after her 'operation'.

To make things easy however, she first threw the money to the ground from the window, after which she followed.

Luck, however, eluded her when she tried escaping; she was given a 'hot' chase by the security man and some policemen who were on guard and arrested her just a few meters away from the entrance to the bank.

The name of the lady was not immediately available as at the time of filing this report but per the post, the incident happened in the capital of the Ashanti Region; Kumasi.

A recent report from Angel Media Group journalist, Saddick Adams, however, has suggested that the lady is a customer who tried to escape after the bank uncovered her several fraudulent deals using her account.

He disclosed that officials of Ecobank called him to give the correct sequence of information of the incident which occurred in August.

“The lady in question is a customer of who has been doing business for a while. The bank recently noticed series of unusual transfers on the lady’s account. (Which they'd not readily disclose).

They finally suspected some dodgy deals. She came to make withdrawal and the bank authorities invited her for some interrogation. The banking hall is downstairs so they accosted her to the upper room, gave her a seat whiles the bank and security staff were locked in a short meeting.

The lady sensing that her "cover had been blown" tried to escape through the window. She was arrested and taken to the police station. Matter is in court”. His post read
