JB Danquah was either caught by surprise or killed while on top of a woman - Ken Agyapong

More revelations have begun to emerge about the murder of former NPP MP for Abuakwa South, although investigations remain unresolved.

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed that during the aftermath of the killing of JB Danquah, fluid suspected to be semen was found on the victim.

Unravelling the incident on The Seat on Net 2, the NPP leading member noted that, Mr Danquah may have ejaculated as he was caught by surprise or might have been killed while he was on top of a woman. ?

"There are two theories to this, either the robbers pounced on the MP and he was startled or the MP was having sex with a lady, hence the sperms in his boxer shorts," he explained.

He further disclosed that strands of lady’s hair and bloodied nightgown was found in the latter’s room. Kennedy Agyapong who appeared visibly upset, fumed that corrupt police officials were covering up the culprits of the crime.

He alleged that he was the first to be at the scene of the crime when the incident happened.

He fingered former IGP Kudalor among others, as being part of a grand coverup; further alleging that the NPP Member of Parliament was assassinated because he had nude photos of former President John Mahama.

The legislator further claimed that JB Danquah, together with the lady who took the pictures attempted to blackmail the then-President.

Mr Agyapong also alleged that former presidential staffer, Stan Dogbe’s name was mentioned during interrogation of the suspect. The former IGP who was not in the country at the time, called COP Dr George Akuffo Dampare who was in charge of the case to hand it over to another police officer but the latter refused.

He said, "when they realised that Dr Dampare was pursuing the case amidst the caution from the IGP, he was transferred immediately to Winneba".

The late former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South was killed by unidentified assailants in his home in 2016, throwing the entire nation in shock.

The case remains under investigation with two suspects, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu currently standing trial in court.
