All set for Accra edition of Baby Jet U-16 tournament

The Accra edition of the Baby Jet under-16 competition is set to kick off on Friday, September 6 at the University of Ghana, Legon Park

The two-day event will have teams from Accra and its nearby towns slug it out for a place in the final scheduled for September 10 to September 18, 2019.

Additionally, teams from the Central and Eastern Regions will also take part in the Accra edition.

There is growing optimism among organizers that patronage of the Accra edition will be favourable with other programs lined up to make it a historic one.

The Accra edition is the climax of the preliminary round of the competition and it is expected that several talents will throng the Legon Park to exhibit their talents.

The Baby Jet u-16 train has already toured Northern, Savanna, North-east, Upper East, Upper West, Brong Ahafo, Bono East, and Ahafo, Western, Eastern and Volta and the Ashanti Region.

FIFA Agents, scouts for finals

Organizers of the competition have confirmed that renowned European agents will be in Ghana for the finals.

Highly-respected agents Sam Hart, Ricardo Joao Cruz and Sebastian Henrique Ramos have been named as three of many agents and scouts who will be witnessing the final at the Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre, Accra Academy.

There will also be ex-footballers and local scouts who will be fishing out talented youngsters for their respective clubs.
