I’m the latest anti-corruption expert in town with my Master’s Degree – Asiedu Nketia brags

General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia has revealed that he is the latest an anti- corruption expert and qualified to speak to issues in that area.

Mosquito as fondly referred to by many in politics on Friday August 17, 2019 graduated with a Master of Science degree in Defence and International Politics from Armed Forces Command College in Accra.

According to him, he had to defer the course in order to enable him concentrate on the national executive and flagbearer contest of his party which has since been successfully held.

“It was a two-year course. It was at the inception of the training people saw me dress in military uniform and they claimed I had joined the military and quit politics. I was supposed to have completed the course last year but because of our National Executive and Flagbearer contest, I deferred it to enable me concentrate after which I came to end the programme”

Giving a background of the course and why he should now be considered as an expert on Accra-based Okay Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com, he said” I did corruption as my research work. From now if you need an anti-corruption expert to speak to issues do extend an invitation to me. I did that alongside defense and international politics. I wanted to know what the country has done to control or eliminate the menace since independence and why we are not making any progress. I also focused on Parliament of Ghana and what they have done on the fight against corruption, whether it is good or bad”

He revealed that he also focused on the country and what it has over the years done in the fight against corruption.
