Germany-born Ghanaian forward Collin Quaner warmed the bench for Huddersfield when they lost 2-1 visiting Fulham on Friday.

Antoine Semeyo was a bench warmer for Bristol City in their 2-0 win over QPR.

Albert Adomah came off the bench to play the last 17 minutes of normal time for Nottingham Forest in their emphatic 3-0 win over Birmingham City.

Andre Ayew was introduced on the 22nd minute at the Liberty Stadium as Swansea City fought from behind to beat Preston North End 3-2.

In the League One, Michael Folivi started upfront and played full throttle for AFC Wimbledon as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Accrington Stanley.

Former Wolves and Sunderland youth team defender Kevin Berkoe warmed the bench for Oxford United in their 2-1 loss at Blackpool. He is 18.

Former Chelsea defender Richard Nartey was unused by Burton in their 1-0 home loss to Rotherham on Saturday.

Abumere Ogogo played in holding midfield for Bristol Rovers in their 2-0 loss at Coventry City.

MK Dons slipped to a 3-2 loss to Wycombe and Ghanaian Hiram Boateng was deployed in the No. 10 role by the losers.

Former Stoke City player James Alabi warmed the bench for Leyton Orient in their 0-0 draw with Stevenage.

Kwame Poku warmed the bench for Colchester in their 2-1 loss to Cambridge United.

Meanwhile in the National League, 4-1 winners Woking introduced Ghanaian Godfrey Poku in the second-half.

Danish-born Justin Shaibu was brought on in the second-half but he could not rescue Boreham Wood when they lost 1-0 to Sutton.

Ghanaian Kevin Lokko was at the heart of defence for Dover in their 2-1 loss to Torquay.

Both Bernard Mensah and Nana Ofori-Twumasi were in action for Maidenhead as they won 4-1 against Chorley.

Brandon Asante was introduced on the 77th minute mark by Ebbsfleet in their 2-1 loss to Sullihull Moors.

In the Professional Development League, Ghanaian Wilberforce Ocran was named on the Charlton U23 bench when they held Birmingham City U23 to a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Elsewhere in the Premier League 2, Tottenham Hotspur U23 posted a 3-1 win over Manchester City U23. And, Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong played for City U23 but Yeboah Amankwah warmed the bench for the losers.

Former Borussia Dortmund forward Gabriel Kyeremateng was in action for 58 minutes for Stoke City U23 in their 2-0 away win over Middlesbrough U23.

In the U18 Premier League, at Liverpool’s Academy Ground in Knowsley, defender Jarell Quansah was in action for 46 minutes for Liverpool U18 when they beat Stoke City U18 3-2.

Manchester City U18 destroyed Newcastle United U18 7-1. Ghanaian kid Kwaku Oduroh was introduced on the 73rd minute by City at the Academy Stadium.

Wolves U18 shocked Manchester United U18 2-0. Ghanaian kid Jed Abbey scored on the 8th minute mark for the winners.

At the Cobham Training Centre, Ghanaian midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson lasted 82 minutes for West Ham United U18 when they lost 4-3 to Chelsea U18.

Enoch Asante came off the bench to play the last 23 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur U18 in their 3-2 loss to Brighton U18 on Saturday at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy Spurs Lodge in Essex.

Meanwhile at the Bodymoor Heath Training Ground in Warwickshire, former Chelsea U18 player Paul Appiah was in action for Aston Villa U18 when they suffered a 5-1 defeat to Arsenal U18.

Terry Ablade on introduced on 83 minutes by Fulham U18 when they drew 3-3 with Norwich City U18.

There was neither Johnson Gyamfi nor Dennis Gyamfi in the Leicester City U18 squad when they drew 1-1 with Reading U18.

GERMANY

Hertha Berlin held Bayern Munich to a 2-2 drawn game at the Allianz Arena on the opening night of the Bundesliga. Ghanaian forward Okyere Kwasi Wriedt and Jerome Boateng were both unused by the Bavarians.

Wales international of Ghanaian descent Ethan Ampadu warmed the bench for RB Leipzig when they 4-0 at Union Berlin.

At the BayArena Bayer Leverkusen posted a 3-1 win over Paderborn. Ghanaian midfielder Christoper Antwi-Adjei played 90 minutes for the losers but youngster Philimon Tawiah missed the game due to injury.

Sweden international of Ghanaian descent Robin Quaison was in action for Mainz 05 when they lost 3-0 at Freiburg.

Trio Kasim Nuhu, Bernard Tekpetey and Kelvin Ofori warmed the bench for Fortuna Dusseldorf when they won 3-1 at Werder Bremen on Saturday. Winger Nana Opoku Ampomah missed the game with injury.

Accra-born Daniel Kofi Kyereh was dropped to Wehen bench for their 3-0 home loss to Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga II.

Hans Sarpei Nunoo also played for Greuther Furth in their 1-0 win over Regensburg.

David Atanga played the opening 45 minutes for Holstien Kiel in their 2-1 win over Karlsruher.

Hamburg SV won 1-0 against visiting VfL Bochum and English-born Ghanaian Osei-Tutu Jordi came off the bench to play for the losers however German-born Ghanaians Jans Gyamerah and Gideon Jung both played in defence for Hamburg. But youngster Maxwell Gyamfi didn’t make the Bochum squad for his game.

Ghanaian kid Aaron Opoku, who played for Hamburg U19 last season,came off the bench to play for Hansa Rostock in their 1-0 loss to visiting Grossaspach.

Defender Steffan Nkansah played for Eintracht Braunschweig in their 3-0 away win over Kaiserslautern.

Attacking midfielder Agyemang Diawusie was named on the Ingolstadt bench for their 3-0 away win over Uerdingen.

Meanwhile Leroy Kwadwo played as a left-back for Wurzburger Kickers when they won 3-2 over Preussen Munster.

In the Liga 3, Ghanaian midfielder Manfred Osei-Kwadwo was in action for 77 minutes for Magdeburg when they managed to squeeze a point from Chemnitzer after holding them to a 0-0 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile in the Regionalliga North, Ghanaian winger John Yeboah Zamora scored the second goal for Wolfsburg II when they claimed a 2-0 win over Werder Bremen II on Friday. Fred Mensah Quarshie was introduced on the 78th minute mark by the losers. Charles Jesaja Hermann didn’t make the Wolfsburg II squad for the game.

Ghanaian midfielder Kofi Twumasi played for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen when they held Fortuna Koln to a 3-3 draw.

In the U19 Bundesliga, Kankam Kyerewaa was in action for 72 minutes for Fortuna Dusseldorf U19 in their 3-2 win over Wuppertaler SV U19.

Lloyd Addo Kuffour played 64 minutes for Borussia Dortmund U19 in their 2-0 home loss to FC Koln.

Amoah Mensah scored one of the consolation goals for Niendorfer U19 when they lost 3-2 to Union Berlin U19. His Ghanaian compatriot Nkansah Apau also played for the winners.

Jonathan Kyeremateng was in action for 71 minutes for VfL Bochum U19 in their 4-0 away win over Alemannia Aachen U19.

Dennis Oduro played 90 minutes for FC Viktoria Köln U19 in their 2-2 draw with Rot-Weiß Oberhausen.

SPAIN

Inaki Williams played until he was replaced on the 89th minute mark by Athletic Club who stunned Barcelona 1-0.

Alaves posted a 1-0 win over Levante on Sunday. Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso played 90 minutes for the winners.

Mohammed Salisu played in central defence for Real Valladolid when they beat Real Betis 2-1.

Thomas Partey started in midfield for Atletico de Madrid when they hosted Getafe at the Wonda Metropolitano.

Ghanaian pair of Lumor Agbenyenu and Issah Baba were in action for Real Mallorca when they won 2-1 against Eibar on the opening weekend of the La Liga.

Defender Joseph Aidoo warmed the bench for Celta de Vigo when Real Madrid hammered them 3-1 at the Balaidos on Saturday afternoon with ten men.

Former Dreams FC player Emmanuel Lomotey played 79 minutes for Extremadura UD when they drew 0-0 with Lugo in the Segunda Division.

Ernest Ohemeng came off the bench to play for Mirandes in their 2-0 away win over Rayo Vallecano.

Striker Raphael Dwamena lasted 59 minutes and failed to score for Real Zaragoza in their 2-0 win over Tenerife.

FRANCE

Enock Kwateng couldn’t make the Bordeaux squad for their 1-1 draw with Montpellier.

Defender John Boye starred in defence for Metz who dismantled AS Monaco 3-0.

Grejohn Kyei didn’t make the Stade de Reims squad when they drew 0-0 with Strasbourg on Sunday.

Lateral defender Dennis Appiah warmed the bench for Nantes in their 0-0 draw with Olympique Marseille.

In the Ligue 2, Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi warmed the bench for Sochaux when they suffered a 1-0 loss at Lorient.

Le Havre posted a 3-1 away win over Lens and Ghanaian Ebenezer Assifuah warmed the bench for the winners.

Former Right to Dream Academy graduate Emmanuel Ntim played in central defence for Valenciennes when they claimed a 1-0 win over Rodez.

Former Ghana U17 skipper Charles Boateng left it late to score the only goal of the game for Avranches in their 1-0 win over Bastia-Borgo.

NETHERLANDS

There was victory for Regnar Ache at the Cars Jeans Stadion as he helped Sparta Rotterdam to claim a 2-1 win over ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie. Defender Robin Polley was unused by the losers.

PSV Eindhoven won 2-0 against Heracles Almelo and Ghanaian Cody Gakpo played the full 90 minutes for PSV.

Ghanaian striker Issah Abass scored a 9th minute finish for FC Utrecht who held Feyenoord to a 1-1 draw.

AZ Alkmaar and Groningen shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Striker Myron Boadu played full throttle for the AZ.

29-year-old Jonatan Opoku Agyemang warmed the bench for VVV Venlo when they lost 4-1 to Ajax on Saturday.

Ghanaian youngster Kenneth Aninkora warmed the bench for Almere City in their 3-2 win over Jong PSV in the Eerste Divisie.

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu played for De Graafschap when they beat Maastricht 3-0.

AUSTRIA

Felix Adjei was introduced on the 81st minute mark by Tirol in their 1-1 draw with LAS Linz on Saturday in the Bundesliga. Attacker Samuel Tetteh conspicuously missed out of the LASK Linz squad for the game.

Midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was introduced in the second-half by Salzburg when they whitewashed St Polten 6-0 on Saturday. His Ghanaian compatriot Evans Mensah didn’t make the Salzburg squad for the game.

Seth Paintsil came off the Admira bench in the second-half to play in their 1-1 draw with Austria Vienna.

Ghanaian forward Paul Mensah played upfront for Kapfenberg when they suffered a 2-1 home loss to visiting Klagenfurt. Kumasi-born former Austria U18 attacking midfielder Samuel Oppong was unused by the host.

Former WAFA defender Kennedy Boateng starred in central defence for Ried in their 1-0 away win over Lafnitz. His Ghanaian compatriot Reuben Acquah was unused by the winners.

Meanwhile Wacker Innsbruck posted a 2-1 win over FC Juniors on Friday evening. Former Ghana U20 captain Issahaku Konda played in defence for the losers while 18-year-old defender Gabriel Awuni was unused by the losers.

In the Regionalliga Cenntral, Ghanaian kid Winfred Amoah played for Sturm Graz Amateur side when they won 2-1 over AC Wolfsberger Amateurs side.

BELGIUM

Former Ghana U20 goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen warmed the bench for KAS Eupen when they held Club Brugge KV to a 0-0 draw.

Kortrijk posted a 4-2 win over Anderlecht at the Guldensporen Stadion. Ghanaian Eric Ocansey started the game for the winners while youngster Francis Amuzu and Jeremy Doku were dropped to the Anderlecht bench.

Jonah Osabutey started for Mouscron but he was replaced in the second-half as St. Liege hammered them 4-1.

St Truiden lost 2-0 to Antwerp and Ghanaian Elton Acolatse played for the losers but Samuel Asamoah wasn’t in their squad for the game. Daniel Opare missed out of Antwerp’s squad through injury.

Nana Asare was not in the Gent team that beat Oostende 2-0 but Elisha Owusu and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe played for the winners.

Offensive midfielder Joseph Paintsil scored and assisted a goal for Genk when they won 4-0 at Waasland-Beveren on Saturday. Ghanaian winger Thomas Agyepong came off the bench to play for the losers.

In the second-tier league, 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Kamal Sowah came off the bench to play the last 9 minutes for OH Leuven in their 3-0 win over Beerschot VA on Friday.

Meanwhile defender Jerry Prempeh starred at the back for Virton when they claimed a 3-0 away win Lommel SK.

BULGARIA

Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Rodney Antwi played for Tsarsko Selo when they held Etar to a 1-1 drawn game on Friday.

Former Ghana U17 skipper Nasiru Mohammed came off the bench to play for Levski Sofia in their 4-0 battering of Vitosha Bistritsa in the top-flight on Saturday.

Midfielder Carlos Ohene starred 73 minutes for Beroe as they beat 10-man Botev Plovdiv 2-0.

DENMARK

Nordsjaelland claimed a 2-0 win pver Odense BK. Ghanaian quartet Francis Abu, Clinton Antwi, Kudus Mohammed and Isaac Atanga started the game for the winners while Abdul Mumin came off the bench to play but Sadiq Ibrahim was unused by Nordsjaelland.

Injured Emmanuel Oti Asigba watched Esbjerg’s victory over Lyngby from the stands due to injury.

Danny Amankwaa started in attack for Sonderjyske who drew 3-3 with Silkeborg.

Emmanuel Sabbi lasted 87 minutes for Hobro who drew 1-1 with Midtjylland.

In the second-tier league, Danish-born Ghanaian midfielder Jeff Mensah was in action for Viborg when they beat Skive 2-0.

FINLAND

Ishmael Yartey scored the match-winner for KPV Kokkola in their 2-1 home win over HJK. Isaac Telly Shaze featured for KPV. Evans Mensah also played 90 minutes for HJK.

Former Ghana U20 defender Baba Mensah was in central defence Ilvves when they lost 2-0 to visiting KuPS.

Midfielder Anthony Annan came off the bench to shore up the midfield for Inter Turku as they beat HIFK 3-2 in the the top-flight league on Friday.

Meanwhile in the Ykkonen, Ghanaian midfielder Derrick Mensah was in action for 81 minutes for AC Kajaani when Musa beat them 5-3. Ex-Liberty Professionals midfielder Brite Andoh warmed the bench for the losers.

In the lower-tier league, NJS beat MiKP 6-2 and Ghanaian Nelson Appiah came off the bench to play for MiPK.

RUSSIA

Ghanaian forward Joel Fameyeh climbed off the bench to play the last 19 minutes of normal time for Orenburg when they drew 1-1 with Sochi.

Sulley Muniru warmed the bench for Tambov in their 2-0 home loss to Krasnodar.

SWEDEN

Enoch Adu Kofi was dropped to the AIK Solna bench when Kalmar beat them 2-1.

Kwame Kizito assisted BK Hacken’s match-winner in their 2-1 victory over Orebro.

In the Superettan, Ghanaian midfielder Enock Kwakwa was in action for 83 minutes for Jonkopings when they beat Frej 3-1. He was booked on the 53rd minute.

Former Hearts of Oak striker Sadat Karim came off the bench to score the match winner for Halmstad BK in their 3-2 win over Vasteras SK.

Ghanaian Antwi Dennis Agyare played for Trelleborg as they drew 2-2 with Degerfors. There was no place in the Trelleborg squad for former Kotoko striker Abdul Safiu Fatawu.

Frank Arhin played 90 minutes for Dalkurd when they beat GAIS 3-0.

In the week 19 of the third-tier league, 21-year-old midfielder Emmanuel Yeboah was in action for Umea FC when they drew 1-1 wit Bodens.

SWITZERLAND

In the Swiss Cup, Swiss-born Ghanaian defender Gregory Kwesi Wuthrich warmed the bench for Young Boys Bern in their 1-0 win over Etoile-Carouge.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Emma Boateng was used in the second-half by DC United who lost 1-0 to Vancouver Whitecaps.

David Accam climbed off the bench to score for Columbus Crew in their 2-2 draw with Toronto FC. Ghana duo of Harrison Afful and Jonathan Mensah played for Accam’s team as well as American international of Ghanaian descent Gyasi Zardes. And, Canadian-born Ghanaian Richie Laryea came off the bench in the second-half to play for the away side.

Joe Gyau was brought on in the second-half by FC Cincinnati who lost 4-1 to New York City FC.

Winger Edwin Gyasi was bench warmer for FC Dallas in their 3-3 draw with Montreal Impact.

Both Charles Sapong and Johan Kappelhof were in action for Chicago Fire in their 2-0 win over Philadelphia Union.

Abu Danlandi came off the bench to rescue a point for Minnesota United as they drew 1-1 with Orlando City FC.

Lalas Abubakar was in action for Colorado Rapids when they drew 2-2 with Houston Dynamo. Canadian-born Ghanaian Kofi Opare warmed the bench for the Rapids.

Latif Blessing lasted the entire period of the game Los Angeles FC in their 2-0 away win over Real Salt Lake.

There was no Kwasi Donsu in the Colorado Spring team that lost 4-0 at Sacramento Republic. However his Ghanaian compatriot Ibrahim Yaro warmed their bench.

34-year-old Dominic Oduro was unused by Charlotte Independence when they lost 3-1 against Nashville. Ropapa Mensah sat on the bench of the winners.

Elvis Amoh starred in midfield for Loudoun when they lost 3-1 against Ottawa Fury.

Quartet Anderson Asiedu, Prosper Kasim, Razak Cromwell and Edmund Opoku were in action for Birmingham in their 1-0 win over Memphis.

BELARUS

Former Ghana U20 attacker Francis Narh scored the only goal of the game for Slavia Mozyr when they won 1-0 against Dnyapro. Former Berekum Chelsea midfielder Dennis Tetteh was brought on by the winners in the 83rd minute.

CANADA

York9 claimed a 2-0 win over Pacific FC. Canadian-born Ghanaian Ryan Telfer and Simon Adjei were both in action for the winners.

In other games Forge forged ahead to a 3-1 win over Valour. Ghanaian pair Kwame Awuah and Raphael Ohin played for the winners.

CROATIA

Obeng Regan scored one of the consolation goals for Istra 1961 when Slaven Belupo beat them 3-2 on Saturday.

20-year-old forward Osei Kesse was unused by Varazdin in their 1-1 draw with Lok. Zagreb on Saturday.

Maxwell Acosty came off the bench to play for Rijeka in their 1-1 draw with Osijek.

In the Reserves League 21-year-old midfielder Prince Obeng Ampem scored a brace for Sibenik who beat Hadjuk Split 2 3-2 on Saturday.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Wing-back Emmanuel Antwi was in action for Pribram when they suffered a 2-0 loss at Slovacko.

Benjamin Tetteh was introduced in the second-half by Sparta Prague who won 2-0 against Banik Ostrava.

HUNGARY

Ghanaian defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong played in central defence for Ferencvaros who won 1-0 against Kaposvar.

LATVIA

Ghanaian Young Obotu was in action for 90 minutes for BFC Daugavpils when they lost 3-2 to Spartaks.

Former Kotoko defender Michael Ofosu-Appiah scored for Valmiera in their 3-1 win over Jelgava. Ghanaian Prince Agyemang also came off the bench to play for the winners.

PORTUGAL

Yaw Ackah came off the bench to play for Boavista in their 1-1 draw with Vitoria Guimaraes in the top-flight. Abdul Aziz-Yakubu, Henry Mendarious, Alhassan Wakaso and Joseph Amoah all missed out of the Guimaraes squad with various degree of injuries.

SLOVAKIA

Ghana U23 attacker Osman Bukari was in action for Trencin in their 2-1 win over Trnana in the Fortuna Liga.

Edmund Addo and Saddam Sulley were both in action for Senica in their 2-2 draw with Ruzomberok.

Slovan Bratislava beat Sered 4-0 and Dutch-born Ghanaian Mitch Apau was in action for 90 minutes for the winners.

Benson Anang was introduced late in the game by Zilina in their 3-0 win over Nitra.

SOUTH AFRICA

Anas Mohammed scored for the second week running for Polokwane as he netted in their MTN Cup 2-0 win over Cape Town City.

Edwin Gyimah was introduced in the second-half by Bidvest Wits 3-0 loss to Supersport United.

TURKEY

Joseph Attamah came off the bench to play the last 30 minutes for Rizespor when they won 2-1 against Genclerbirligi.

Trabzonspor left Caleb Ekuban on their bench in their 1-1 draw at Kasimpasa. However he was brought on in the second-half.

Bernard Mensah was in midfield for Kayesirspor when Alanyaspor beat them 1-0 on Saturday.
