The head coach of the National Table Tennis team, Anthony Owusu-Ansah has expressed optimism about winning medals for the nation at the 2019 African Games in Morocco.

The coach in an interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports said he should be blamed squarely because as a team, they have been provided with all they need to excel.

“If we go and we don’t perform well, I should be blamed because we have been given all the necessary assistance and we had good preparation to go and excel in Morocco. We have no excuse to fail,” he said.

The 12th African Games will take place from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. This will be the first time that the African Games will be hosted by Morocco.
