Our achievements are unbeatable so far - John Boadu

The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu says even though they have not been able to fulfill everything promised, their achievements so far cannot be compared to what former President John Mahama did in over 5 years.

According to him, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is painting a wrong picture of the hard working government.

"By the end of our mandate, Ghanaians will testify," he said.

"Our constitution allows everyone to demonstrate. As for the numbers let’s not talk about it. Those who attended the demonstration were in Ghana when the NDC was in power and for eight years we were sleeping in darkness. When NPP came dumsor became a thing of the past. We’ve created jobs, free SHS . . . yes there are a few challenges but we are building a nation and we will continue to fulfill our promises," he indicated during an interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.

John Boadu was reacting to a recently held demonstration dubbed 'Kum Yen Preko' organised by the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ) led by the NDC's Sammy Gyamfi.
