Gideon Mensah Extends Contract With Austrian Giants Red Bull Salzburg

Ghanaian left-back Gideon Mensah has penned a fresh contract with Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.

The defender was handed a contract extension after an impressive loan stint with Sturm Graz.

Mensah, 20, has already joined Red Bull Salzburg’s pre-season training in Austria.

He is expected to play a key role for the Austrian Champions next season.

“I am very happy that I am back. The year at Sturm Graz has been good for me, and I think I have developed well. Now I will do everything I can to make it a success,” the Ghana U23 player said after signing his new contract.

His new deal with the Club keeps him at the Red Bull Arena until 2024.

He appeared in 15 games for Sturm Graz in the Austrian top-flight last season.
