Ghana goalkeeper Felix Annan remains optimistic the Black Stars will qualify to the round of 16 in the ongoing Africa Nations Cup despite failing to win a game so far in the competition.

The Black Stars have recorded two drawn games with Benin and Cameroon in their first and second games respectively.

The results have left many unhappy and confused considering the chances of the Black Stars going forward.

But Felix Annan is convinced the task is achievable ahead of the clash with Guinea-Bissau in Tuesday.

“I think it was a difficult game against a very organized Cameroon side.

“We have improved and need to keep working.

“We also had our chances but that’s football you convert some and miss some but the most important thing is that we keep a clean sheet today and that gives us confidence going into the all important last group game against Guinea-Bissau,” he said.

Nothing but a win over Guinea-Bissau can see the Black Stars qualify to the round of 16 in the ongoing competition.
