Chief Executive Officer of the newly launched Investor Company, Richard Nii Armah Quaye has noted that, Quick Angels Limited has not been established to defraud people but rather, to help young entrepreneurs with brilliant business ideas to thrive.

He stated that, Quick Angels Limited, which has now penetrated in the industrial eco-system aims at alleviating poverty in the country at this time that the country is facing economic crisis.

“I personally think it is too long a time and this is the time for Angel investors to penetrate into our economy so deep and help alleviate poverty if not for millions, then thousands,” he said.

In an interview with the media after the official launch of the company, Mr Armah Quaye stated that because of the economic challenges in the country, people will be skeptical about their operations and think they are also Ponzi ‘schemers’.

He said, “because of the challenges we’ve had in the economy over the years, there will be that skepticism about the company and people will be wondering what we are about to do. People will think that perhaps, we have also come here to bring a Ponzi scheme”.

He, therefore, entreated Ghanaians, especially startups to research about the company for their policies to really understand what they are into.

Mr Armah Quaye called on government to support them in their endeavours and also guide them on the right path to prevent future mishappenings.

He added that, Quick Angels is ready to take part of the government’s responsibility on funding startups, potential and existing entrepreneurs with great ideas.

He said “Government must give us the support, the assistance, guidance and leverage to be able to take part of their responsibilities.
