NC Special Competition: Samuel Appiah strike enough for Mauve to truimph Aduana Stars

Medeama SC having going through hard times in Dormaa last week, continued their impressive form in the Normalization Committee Special Competition as they beat Aduana Stars by a lone goal.

The match which was closely contendered, had both sides defending through to end the first stanza.As it ended goalless.

The second half begun with both teams sticking to their defensive tactics, till Medeama SC started to push in search of the opener after an hour into the game.

Several of their effort went invain.But Medeama’s effort finally paid off late in the game, as right back Samuel Appiah headed home to give his side the deserved lead.

Aduana Stars fought back late in the game but couldn’t get the equalizer.

The Mauves and Yellow after the win maintain their stay in second spot with 13 points behind Asante Kotoko.
