Methodist bishop urges Ghanaians to work towards national development.

The Methodist bishop of Koforidua diocese has called on Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts, which hinder national development.

Right Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Asare Kusi speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a church service to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, urged Ghanaians to use the ocassion to reflect on national challenges and lead lives that will help build a united nation.

While admonishing Ghanaians to brace themselves up for life challenges, Rt. Rev Asare Kusi was optimistic these challenges are surmountable.

The Methodist bishop in his message also welcomed decision to hold a dialogue aimed at finding ways to disband vigilante groups linked to the NPP and NDC.

He called on them to bury their differences while cooperating with stakeholders involved.
