After setbacks in midweek, Ghanaian football giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak seek to bounce back when the Football Association Normalisation Committee Special Competition returns for matchday three on Sunday.

The two sides suffered shocking defeats on Wednesday, losing 1-0 to Medeama and Elmina Sharks respectively.

In Zone A, Kotoko's quest for their second three points of the novelty league will be tested away by wounded Sekondi-based Eleven Wonders, who are still chasing their first win.

Zone leaders Ashanti Gold will hope to consolidate their top spot with three more points when they face Aduana Stars in Dormaa. Whereas The Miners held Bechem United to a draw on Wednesday, the Fire Boys beat Eleven Wonders 2-1.

With the fixture between Medeama and Stallions FC (formerly Wa All Stars) postponed, Bechem United will host Berekum Chelsea in the last game of Zone A on Sunday. The Hunters and The Blues sit fifth and sixth, respectively, on the league table.

In Zone B, Hearts will hope to atone for the last defeat with a win in their visit to Karela United. To achieve their aim, the Phobians must find ways to stop the in-form Diawisie Taylor, who has scored in Karela's two games played thus far.

Tying Taylor on two goals is Wafa's Kingsford Opoku Frimpong, who will hope to increase his tally when the Academy Boys visit Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Stadium.

In Dawu, Dreams FC are eyeing their first win of the campaign at home against Ebusua Dwarfs, who have lost both games played thus far. Still Believe have lost one game and drawn the other.

In the last game, fourth-placed Liberty Professionals will host sixth-positioned Inter Allies at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park.
